BizBoost offered many products and services to help new businesses get off the ground. I was faced with the challenge of displaying these products and services in a user-friendly manner that did not overwhelm the user. The budget was small and we were not going to implement e-commerce for the available products - the website needed to comprise of only 2 pages.

BizBoost had the expertise to build its own brand and design its own website but lacked the time. So it was important to give the team a website designed and built in the calibre that they would design for themselves. I collaborated with Frame of Reference to help bring their brand to life in the digital space. Frame of Reference designed the brand identity and using this as a guide I designed and built the website.

Information Architecture

I started this project by drawing out a sitemap on pen and paper to get a general idea of the location of information and the user's flow through the website. It helped me to highlight key Call-to-Action locations to ensure conversions.

Wireframing

I then moved on to the wireframes for this 2-page website. This was a simple module. The wireframes helped solidify the sitemap and flow created on pen and paper.

My collaboration with Frame of Reference meant that I needed to clearly indicate where images were needed for the website so that their team could design the necessary graphics for each location on the website.

Once the wireframes were approved and the images were supplied by Frame of Reference, I moved onto creating a design mockup for approval.

The Build

I then moved onto building the website in Wordpress using the Elementor Builder.

My knowledge in both Figma and Elementor allowed me to give BizBoost a very clear wireframe and design to approve, one that detailed features and structures that are possible in Elementor. This leaves my client satisfied that the end result looks exactly the same as the design that they approve.

The Result

A mobile-friendly, budget-friendly, 2-page website that gives information about BizBoost and their products and services as and when the users needs it.
